Artist: Mario Zamparelli Important Added Info: Note that this movie was produced by Howard Hughes, and he oversaw every aspect of the production, as he did with his other movies. He hired Mario Zamparelli to do the posters for this movie and most of the others he produced in the 1940s and 1950s, but Zamparelli REALLY delivered a spectacular piece of art on this three-sheet (and it is not on any of the other posters for this movie), which makes it one of the most desirable posters of the 1950s! Also note that only the top 2/3 of this poster is present. It was printed in 2 pieces. One had the top 2/3 of the poster and the other had the bottom 1/3, AND THAT BOTTOM 1/3 PIECE IS MISSING. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that only 2/3 of the poster is present! Note that the portion of the poster that is present contains the majority of the image, but the title, credits, and the bottom of the image is missing. Also note that we have a high resolution image of the missing portion of the poster (which could help in restoration) and will provide it solely to the winning bidder. Condition: poor.
