Date Sold 4/10/2014Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Live and Let Die, the 1973 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller (based on the novel by Ian Fleming; featuring the title song written by Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney, and performed by Wings) starring Roger Moore ("as James Bond"), Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour (as Solitaire), Clifton James (as Sheriff J.W. Pepper), Julius Harris (as Tee Hee the henchman), Geoffrey Holder (as Baron Samedi), Gloria Hendry (as Rosie), David Hedison (as Felix Leiter), and Madeline Smith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards are marked "WEST HEMI" which means they were printed for use in one half of the world (there were also posters and lobby cards marked "EAST HEMI" for use in the other half of the world!). THIS WAS DUE TO THE TWO PRODUCERS (Saltzman and Broccoli) BEING UNABLE TO AGREE ON WHO SHOULD GET FIRST BILLING! They resolved this by having posters for half of the world having one of their names first, and on the other half of the world, they reversed it! Condition: very good to fine. Some of the cards have very slight darkening in the top edge of the top blank border. A few have some faint smudges in the top left blue background area. Note that these lobby cards are completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of any of them! See our super-sized image of the eight cards to get a better sense of the condition of each. Learn More about condition grades
