An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]) (Learn More) Pacific Northwest Bell Indoor World Class Track & Field, the 1988 poster promoting the Pacific Northwest Bell Indoor track & field competition held on January 23rd at Portland's Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon, and featuring art of athletes performing in various track & field events. Note that the poster was typeset with "Mary Slaney" as one of the competitors, but she was injured prior to the meet, and so they obscured her name on the printing plate (but it is still legible). Of course, Mary Slaney was "Mary Decker" when four years earlier she was tripped by Zola Budd, and lost an Olympic gold medal, and her career was injury plagued. Also at this meet were champions Al Joyner, Dwight Stones, and others! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was printed on a heavy enough paper stock that it can't be rolled and must be sent in a large flat package. Condition: very good to fine.
