An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Dixie, the 1943 A. Edward Sutherland romantic musical ("The South goes BING... The nation goes DOTTY over Dixie"; "Paramount's big musical in gorgeous Technicolor!"; "Hear Bing sing 12 songs as her never sang before!"; "You'll wish you were in 'Dixie' Hurray! Hurray!") starring Bing Crosby, Dorothy Lamour, Marjorie Reynolds ("The lovely dream of 'Holiday Inn'"), Billy De Wolfe, Lynne Overman, Raymond Walburn, and Eddie Foy Jr. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see. Condition: very good. The black tape in the top was coming loose and so someone put a piece of clear tape over it in the left and right blank corners. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
