An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 4 1/4" x 6" [11 x 15 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) Song of the West, the 1930 Ray Enright cowboy western romantic comedy musical ("All the romance of the golden west!"; "From the operetta 'Rainbow' by Laurence Stallings" & Oscar Hammerstein II) starring John Boles, Vivienne Segal, Joe E. Brown, Ann Sothern, and Marie Wells. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this herald, and the last one was 15 years ago! One of those two examples has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! Note that this is from a wonderful collection of heralds we were recently consigned. We auctioned the first 30 from this collection (the very best ones) in our just-concluded April Major Auction. We will auction more from this collection every four weeks until they are all sold, and this time there are 43 different ones (all are in separate auctions), and they include many that we have either never before auctioned or only auctioned once or twice before.. The collection only included one of each herald, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
