Credit Commercial De France, the 1918 French World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster (with taglines that translate to "4th National Defense Loan"; "Subscribe for victory and the triumph of liberty") encouraging people to buy war bonds, and featuring Lucien Jonas art of Marianne (a French national symbol) encouraging French and American soldiers to charge into battle. Note that Credit Commercial de France was a French bank which was founded in 1894 and headquartered in Paris.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines and in the borders, with a few creases and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now minor creases in the right border (solely in the excess linen, and not at all in the poster itself).
