2m299 DARK HAZARD LC 1934 compulsive gambler Edward G. Robinson loses everything, ultra rare!

An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Dark Hazard, the 1934 Alfred E. Green compulsive gambling romantic love triangle melodrama (about a compulsive gambler who marries a woman and has a child, but his gambling ruins things, and he leaves her for another woman; he makes a fortune with dog racing, but then loses it all on roulette) starring Edward G. Robinson, Genevieve Tobin, Glenda Farrell, Robert Barrat, Gordon Westcott, and Sidney Toler. Note that this completely forgotten movie has one of the most accurate portrayals of a compulsive gambler in any movie we know of (the man is so addicted to gambling that he ignores his wife and child, and NOTHING is more important to him than the gambling!).

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1934 movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a few 8x10 stills (but no lobby cards or posters) from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is staining and tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner, with much lesser staining in the top edge of the right of the top blank border. Other than the above staining, which mostly only affects blank white border areas, the card is in really nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
