Kelly Canadian Battle of Dieppe military short subject (apparently, this short was not a pure documentary and mixed fact and fiction; "Filmed during the fighting 'This Most Gallant Affair' is a movie every Canadian will be proud to see!";"The true story of Canada's citizen soldiers in the epic battle of Dieppe") narrated by Agnes M. Anderson. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Canadian movie! Also note that this Canadian one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]. Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods. Condition: good. The poster was folded somewhat oddly, resulting in fold and edge damage. Learn More about condition grades
