(Learn More) Carol Lofner was a big band musician and leader from the 1920s to the 1940s. In 1928, along with co-leader Phil Harris, the Lofner-Harris Orchestra played the Rendezvous Ballroom in Balboa, CA, and were such a hit at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco that they were held over there for three years Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Carol Lofner! Our consignor is a very longtime dealer/collector who acquired this signed item in the 1970s, and kept it in his collection until now, when he is selling parts of his collection. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Included with the signed still are two deluxe music publicity stills of Lofner with his orchestra working at MCA. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
