An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 59 1/4" x 85 3/4" [150 x 218 cm]) (Learn More)

Turi, der Wanderlappe (literally translates to "Turi, the Wanderlappe"), the 1913 Alfred Lind German silent Scandinavia Lapland family melodrama short (about a reindeer herder who wants his daughter to have a better life in "civilization", so he gives her to a pastor who treats her like family, she grows up and has a family of her own but she starts to miss her father and the nomadic lifestyle) starring Max Obal (in the title role as Turi), Paul Meffert, Hans Mierendorff, and Ellen Rassow. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this German poster, which is printed in 2 sections designed to overlap, with wonderful art of a family traveling in the arctic with reindeer, has no printing on it other than a studio logo for Deutsch Bioscop and the name of the studio printed below it.

Condition: very good. The poster has some darkening and faint stains on the part of the poster that was on the outside when the poster was fully folded. Otherwise, it has pretty minor fold and border wear. The poster has likely survived in about as good condition as one could hope, given the poster's size and age.
