An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) A Girl, a Guy, and a Gob, the 1941 Richard Wallace romantic love triangle comedy ("Produced by Harold Lloyd") starring George Murphy, Lucille Ball, Edmond O'Brien, Henry Travers, Franklin Pangborn, and Marguerite Chapman. Note that the word "gob" was an Americanism which referred to a sailor in the United States Navy, and it was commonly used in the U.S. from at least the 1920s to the 1940s, and was so commonly used that it was understood when it was used as part of this movie title, but surely modern day viewers would have no idea what that word means, because it has completely fallen into disuse. There is discoloration scattered throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There is wear, small bits of paper loss and several areas of separation along the foldlines and/or crossfold(s). There are some creases and tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster (some of which have been repaired with tape from the back and in front at upper right). There is a 4" cut in the art of Ball's back that has been repaired with tape from the back that slightly bleeds through to the front.
