An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Pay Day, the 1922 Charlie Chaplin (billed as "Charles Chaplin") silent romantic slapstick 2-reel comedy short ("It's worth a years salary to see - Charles Chaplin in 'Pay Day'"; "Written and directed by Charles Chapin"; which features Chaplin as an expert bricklayer!) starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Phyllis Allen, Mack Swain, Edna Purviance, Syd Chaplin, Albert Austin, John Rand, Loyal Underwood, Henry Bergman, and Al Ernest Garcia
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this card features a great image of Chaplin in a butcher shop, and he is holding on to a hanging sausage, while he reads his paper, and the butcher is yelling at him "Hot Dog! Some Strap Hanger!". 85 years later, the joke still makes sense, because people still hang on to straps in New York City subways and read their newspapers!

Condition: very good. Someone put many small blue stickers on the back of parts of the borders (for unknown reasons, but NOT for a restoration purpose). There are some small stains and faint smudges around the edges of the card and smudges in the background areas.
