The production was aimed at children and featured Mickey "the learned dog", Prosper "the terrible child" (a ventriloquist act), Margaret "the most modern fairy" (a magic act), and bicycle races involving bikes on rollers. Note that Velodrome d'Hiver (also known as Vel d'Hiv) was an an indoor velodrome and may be best known for the "Vel' d'Hiv Roundup", a July of 1942 mass arrest of Jews in Paris by the French police at the behest of the Nazis. Artist: Hartfort Important Added Info: Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a very long vertical tear running from below the girl's hand, down through her dress, and to the bottom border. It had a tear near the center of the top border running through to the background at the top of the magic wand. It had some small tears, tiny paper loss, and tiny stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
