An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) An Amateur Devil, the 1920 Maurice Campbell silent family farce romantic comedy ("Adapted from the story 'Wanted, a Blemish' by Jesse E. Henderson & Henry J. Buxton"; about a rich young man whose fiancee dumps him because he is too dull, so he goes to work as a farmhand and then as a busboy in the hopes that it will cause a scandal that will make his ex-girlfriend want him again, but that doesn't work, because he is praised for being industrious, and then he starts an affair with a notorious actress, but that doesn't cause a scandal either, and by this point, his ex-fiancee no longer thinks him "dull" and takes him back!) starring Bryant Washburn, Charles Wingate, Ann May, Sidney Bracey, Graham Pettie, Anna Dodge, and Christine Mayo NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
