An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Nobody's Darling, the 1943 Anthony Mann family relationship show business girl-seeking-stardom musical (about a girl whose separated parents are stars, and they ignore her, and she decides to become a star herself, and she does!) starring Mary Lee ("America's Little Sister"), Louis Calhern (he is best remembered for his middle-aged roles, most notably in The Asphalt Jungle, but he started as a Broadway actor before World War I, then served in the war, and after he made a few films, but mostly was a Broadway actor until 1931!), Gladys George, Jackie Moran, Lee Patrick, Bennie Bartlett and Marcia Mae Jones. Note that Mary Lee was 19 years-old when this movie was made, and she had been a teenage singer, and she was just 4' 11", which may have contributed to her nickname "America's Little Sister".
