He led the popular ragtime band Vincent Lopez and His Orchestra, and he appeared in several movies, including: The Home Girl, Those Blues, and Queens of the Air AND Jerry Larson and Bruce Hayes were songwriters that worked with Vincent Lopez and His Orchestra in the 1940s Important Added Info: Note that this menu (which was printed specifically for 1/3/45, because back then fancy restaurants printed a new menu every day!) has been personally autographed (signed) by Vincent Lopez, Jerry Larson, AND Bruce Hayes, who performed with the orchestra that played at the restaurant at the Taft Hotel in New York City! Looking at the prices, it is hard to believe this was a fancy hotel, because an order of oysters cost 20 cents, the entire seafood lunch was 95 cents, and an entire bottle of wine was $1.75! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signatures were obtained, and he (and we) believe it is very likely that the autographs are authentic.
