Written and drawn by Al Capp, the strip featured humorous stories of a fictional clan of hillbillies living in the mountain town of Dogpatch, U.S.A. The comic strip has spawned several films, radio shows, books and even Sadie Hawkins Day (a pseudo-holiday created within the strip which became a widely celebrated event in real life). On Sadie Hawkins Day, women could ask men to marry them, so you could see why it became very popular, but mostly only with women with marriage-phobic boyfriends! Artist: Al Capp Condition: very good. The bag has wear around the edges but the cards and envelopes are in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
