An Autographed 8" x 10" Movie Still Reproduction (Learn More) Tippi Hedren (born Nathalie Kay Hedren) is an actress from the 1950s to the present. She is best remembered for starring in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and Marnie. She is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith. In 1971, she was making a movie that involved a lion, and she learned of their poor treatment, which began her devotion to wild animals. In 1981, she spent $17 million to film the movie "Roar", about the treatment of big cats, and it only took in $2 million at the box office. She has devoted all the years since to helping wild animals. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 92! Important Added Info: Note that this reproduction still has been personally autographed (signed) by Tippi Hedren. It is one of a collection of 30 reproduction stills which were consigned to us by a man who lived in Hollywood and worked in the movie business and met many stars in the 1960s to 1980s, and when he knew he would meet a celebrity, he would purchase a reproduction still of that celebrity, and get it autographed by them when he met them. We do not issue "certificates of authenticity", but we know the above to be true, and we feel 100% certain that the autographs on the stills in this collection are genuine. Note that we normally never sell reproduction movie paper, but we do so this time because the autographs are genuine and were obtained in person, even though they are on reproduction stills. We have put a generic date of "'70s" on all these reproduction stills, but they may have been created during the 1960s or 1980s. Condition: fine. Learn More about condition grades
