A 1944 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Red River Valley, the 1936 B. Reeves Eason Texas singing cowboy western musical ("Screen Play and Original Story by Stuart E. McGowan and Dorrell McGowan"; "Your singing son of the saddle braves dynamite death to clear himself of the bandit brand!"; "The screen's new singing cowboy star") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Boothe Howard, Frances Grant, Jack Kennedy, and Champion (Gene Autry's horse). Note that this was Gene Autry's sixth movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The slide and holder are in about as good condition as can be expected (there is just slight aging to the holder). See below for a scan of the slide and a separate scan of the holder. Learn More about condition grades
