A 1965 Re-Release Theatrical Autographed Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 12 1/4" x 15" [31 x 38 cm]; 10 pages) (Learn More)

Robert Bloch was a horror and science fiction (sci-fi) author from the 1960s to the 1990s. He is surely best remembered as the author of Psycho, but he also wrote many books and did the screenplays for some movies and TV shows. Bloch passed away in 1994 at the age of 70.

Important Added Info: Note that this item (which is a 1965 re-release pressbook for Psycho) has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Bloch! He wrote "Very best wishes from Robert Bloch" on an interior page (see our image). Our consignor purchased this item 20 years ago from a dealer who obtained it from Forrest J. Ackerman's collection, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Finally, note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. It was folded at a diagonal, and it has some creases and scuffs scattered throughout.
