42 Up, the 1998 (released in the U.S. in 1999) Michael Apted English made-for-TV biographical documentary ("In 1964 director Michael Apted interviewed a group of seven year old children for the documentary 'Seven Up'. He's been back to film them every seven years... Now they are 49.") featuring Bruce Balden, Jacqueline Bassett, Symon Basterfield, Andrew Brackfield, and John Brisby. Beginning in 1963, Michael Apted created a documentary for BBC television examining the lives of a group of 14 seven year-olds, from different socio-economic backgrounds. Each succeeding seven years, Apted re-examined the same people (over the years, a couple have dropped out). Also, note that this was released theatrically in some countries.
