An Original Vintage Folded Special Movie Poster (measures 21" x 28" [53 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Tele-Topics Pro Football Thrills, the 1953 Burton B. Jerrel football sports movie ("GAME TODAY"; "'Hot' from the nation's leading gridirons!"; "50 yard line seats for all the complete play-by-play highlight action!") narrated by Dick Nesbitt. Note that this was a stock poster, with a blank rectangle in the lower right, where theaters would get a printed sheet to glue into that area with the specifics of the game being shown in the theater that night (note the "now showing" red arrow to the left of the box). This particular poster has the printed paper snipe still attached (we have had several copies of this poster before and all but one had no snipe attached). The snipe on this poster tells that this night the theater was showing a game between the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco Forty-Niners! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that theaters would be sent this poster which has a blank area at middle right with text in the center of it that reads "PASTE IN CURRENT PRO-GAME BULLETIN SHEET HERE". This particular poster has the sheet that was displayed with it (the sheet was lightly attached at one time and has come loose, but could be easily re-attached). Condition: very good to fine. Both the poster and the separate sheet are in nice condition with tiny paper loss in the right of the bottom border. Note that the poster was folded and mailed to a theater owner, without being put in an envelope, and with the poster meter stamp on the back of the poster itself. Learn More about condition grades
