Morocco, the classic 1930 Josef von Sternberg (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) military French Foreign Legion doomed romance romantic love triangle adventure melodrama (Cooper is a man who ran off to join the French Foreign Legion to escape his past, and he meets French saloon singer Marlene Dietrich, and they fall madly in love, but their romance is ill-fated) starring Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Adolphe Menjou, Ullrich Haupt, Eve Southern, and Francis McDonald. Note that both Gary Cooper and Marlene Dietrich were at the height of their fame when they made this movie, and they worked wonderfully together! Also note that in this movie, Dietrich is sometimes dressed in men's clothes and has a passionate kiss with another woman!

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened, typical of Paramount lobby cards of this period. There is a pinhole in each corner. There are many faint scuffs scattered throughout the image, and while it is noticeable, more so in the background areas, it is not terribly distracting (see our super-sized images to get a good sense of how it appears). We leave it to bidders on this incredibly rare card to decide how important this significant defect is to them, and they should only bid after they have looked closely at our super-sized image). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
