Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It had much light staining and creases in the top blank area, with creases extending into the top of the heads of the two men at right. It had light horizontal creases scattered throughout, likely from being roughly handled while rolled. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. At some point after it was backed onto a thin linen with no excess, the poster acquired light water staining in the top 12" of the right blank border. If I owned this great poster, I would surely have it removed from the linen, and after restoration, which is primarily in the top blank areas, the poster will display wonderfully, and likely require little paint restoration anywhere, except in the top of the poster. However, bear all the above in mind before bidding on this extremely cool and rare poster. Learn More about condition grades
