Just Suppose, the 1926 Kenneth S. Webb silent romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the play by A.E. Thomas"; about the prince of a mythical European country who comes to the U.S. and falls in love with a commoner, but when his older brother dies, he must return to his country, but he eventually is reunited with his true love) starring Richard Barthelmess, Lois Moran, Geoffrey Kerr, Henry Vibart, George Spelvin, and Harry Short

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards.

Condition: good to very good. This is an unusual poster! Why? Because there were two examples of this poster found, and they had been stored upside-down from each other, and there was paper loss in both posters, but in one, the paper loss was in the bottom left corner, and because the other poster had been stored upside-down from it, the paper loss in that poster was in the top left corner! Since both posters had considerable staining in that area, it made far more sense to simply use the complete part of the bottom of the second poster to "marry" it to the bottom of the other example (which was in pretty nice condition, except for the large paper loss at bottom left). SO KNOW THAT THIS POSTER WAS CREATED BY COMBINING TWO DIFFERENT EXAMPLES OF THIS POSTER (the area of joining is just below Barthelmess' credit, and just above the title, in the blank background area). Prior to paperbacking the two examples of the poster had never been folded. They each had faint water stains scattered around the edges of the poster, and a much lesser amount in the center of the poster, where much of the great image is (but there were some stains scattered in those areas)! Other than the faint staining, each portion of the two posters that were used were in pretty nice condition prior to paperbacking. The person who restored the poster joined the two pieces together along the blank area described above, and did slight restoration to the faint water staining described above, but did not attempt to touch up every bit of it, do avoid giving the poster a "restored" look (and I agree with that decision). The poster will display well on anyone's wall!
