Artist: Fred Fixler Important Added Info: Note that the art on this poster has many times been falsely attributed to poster artist Reynold Brown (and also the art on the "Pit and the Pendulum" posters) on several websites (including ours!). However, a collector has now informed us the actual artist is Fred Fixler (born Nandor Lipschitz), who was a successful Hungarian illustrator, and that artist has the original art from his posters for both these movies on his website. Since none of his poster art was signed, he could also have created several other posters that have been mistakenly credited as Reynold Brown art, and this could help solve the mystery of the artist whose work looks like Reynold Brown, but isn't Reynold Brown! The poster had small tears and tiny paper loss along parts of several folds, with some staining in the background above the credits and some tears and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
