An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Fredric March was a legendary actor from the 1920s to the 1970s, who seamlessly made the transition from leading man to character actor, appearing in a huge number of wonderful movies, and he never gave a bad performance! Some of his movies include: Death Of A Salesman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film); The Best Years Of Our Lives (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Inherit the Wind, Seven Days in May, Les Miserables, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Design for Living, The Desperate Hours, and A Star Is Born (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film). Note that at a few times in his career, he was billed as "Frederic"! He passed away in 1975 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: Note that this still has a FACSIMILE autograph that is within the printing (it has NOT been personally autographed). It is one of a number of similar deluxe stills (printed on heavy paper) we have been consigned, and which we are auctioning in separate auctions. Based on the stars pictured and their ages in the images, we would say that these are almost certainly from around 1932 or 1933. We don't know for what purpose these were created. They could have been some sort of advertising promo, perhaps in conjunction with a movie magazine of the 1930s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
