An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 236 pages) (Learn More) The Thorn Birds, the 1983 U.S./Australian New Zealand/Australia romantic love triangle melodrama television (TV) mini-series ("An ABC novel for television"; based on the book by Colleen McCullough; about a young woman who moves from New Zealand to Australia to run her aunt's ranch; she falls in love with the local priest, and she marries someone else to try to forget about him, but it doesn't work out that way) starring Richard Chamberlain, Rachel Ward, Christopher Plummer, Barbara Stanwyck, Stephanie Faracy, Barry Corbin, and Bryan Brown. Note that this was originally intended to be a feature film, but because of its scope (covering 60 years!), it ended up a 4-part mini-series that 460 minutes long. In spite of it being set in Australia, none of it was filmed there, and Bryan Brown was the only Australian in the main cast. He fell in love with Rachel Ward during filming, and they married that year, and have three children, and are still married! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
