During most of the 20th century, Kodak held a dominant position in photographic film and its tagline "Kodak moment" became a common phrase. Artist: Fred Pegram Important Added Info: Note that this poster had its blank borders trimmed around the edges and it now measures 75" x 114" [191 x 290 cm]. The bottom left of the poster where part of the "KODAK" name (and the tagline above it) has been trimmed as well, which means that we don't know what all of the writing at the bottom read (because we cannot find a reference image of this really cool poster)! When this poster was found, it was found with two duplicates of the bottom right piece (one untrimmed, and one trimmed). Please see our images for more details. Also note that this advertising poster was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. UPDATED 02/27/2012: Note that we have updated the Item Description, Important Added Details and our images. Condition: poor. An unknown amount has been trimmed from the edges of the poster. The poster is brittle and there are tears, stains, and some areas of paper loss throughout. Surely a talented restorer could linenback this really cool poster and it would display nicely but please bid knowing that it will require restoration before it can be properly displayed!
