eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result a010 ANTONIO MORENO candid 8x10 movie still '20s golfing w/pool cue! Date Sold 11/29/2007Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Antonio Moreno was a Spanish actor from the 1910s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: Lost and Found on a South Sea Island, Notorious, The Searchers, Judith of Bethulia, It, and Lust for Gold. He passed away in 1967 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Antonio Moreno, playing one of the oldest bets in golf. Apparently, he gambled that he could play the first hole of the Hollywood Golf Club in less than 100 strokes, solely using a pool cue, in place of golf clubs (and given the wear and tear on his back, I would bet he was betting a LOT of money!). The still confirms that he finished the hole in 97 strokes, thus winning his bet! Also note that there is information about the still printed on the back. Condition: fine. The still is in excellent condition! Learn More about condition grades
