An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 37" [67 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) You Help Build the B-29, the 1945 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("U.S. Army Official Poster") with an image of a B-29 Bomber and an "exploded view" of all the separate main parts it takes to put the plane together. The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was a four-engine propeller-driven heavy bomber designed by Boeing and flown by the United States during World War II and the Korean War. The Superfortress was designed for high-altitude strategic bombing but also excelled in low-altitude night incendiary bombing, and in dropping naval mines to blockade Japan. B-29s also dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, becoming the only aircraft to ever use nuclear weaponry in combat. Today, more than twenty B-29s remain as static displays, but only two still fly. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is small paper loss in the middle of the left edge of the poster. There is a small ink pad stamp in the lower left corner and there are some pin holes in each corner of the poster. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
