An Original 1967 (from the first release of this movie in Australia) Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 29 3/4" x 39 3/4" [76 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) Der Arzt Stellt Fest (released in some English-speaking countries in 1967 as "The Right to be Born" and in other countries as "The Doctor Speaks Out" in 1968), the 1966 Aleksander Ford & Franz Matter Swiss/German abortion birth semi-documentary sexploitaiton movie ("A clinically true to life story! Dealing with today's most controversial issues - abortion - illegal or legal? Use of contraceptive device - illustrated"; "'Must I have this baby?'"; "Actual scenes of the births of three babies including one by Cesarian section, in colour. Suitable only for adults who should not miss this graphic, factual and enlightening film. It will not be shown on television."; "Filmed behind the walls of a women's clinic!"; "A film in black and white and color by Academy Award winner Eugen Shuftan") starring Tadeusz Lomnicki, Rene Deltgen, Margot Trooger, Dieter Borsche, and Charles Regnier. Note that we have seen a one-sheet that was undated with the "The Right to Be Born" title that we think was from 1967, and we have seen a special 23x36 one-sheet with "The Doctor Speaks Out" title, and that had a 1968 NSS stamped on the back. So maybe the movie was released in some countries under one title and in others under the other, or possibly the "The Doctor Speaks Out" title is a re-release from 1968. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, while this poster was printed in Australia, it was specifically made to be used in New Zealand. This was not an uncommon practice and we have seen many examples. These posters often lack the printed rating which can be found on the Australian version of the poster. However, what is very interesting about this poster is that it was originally printed with "It will not be shown on television" at the bottom, and then a large snipe with a New Zealand "R" rating was applied over that (see our image). Also note that this Australian one-sheet measures 29 3/4" x 39 3/4" [76 x 101 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There is a large snipe at the bottom over the original tagline area, and there are tiny staple holes around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
