Buy War Stamps & Bonds, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster ("Lexington, 1775 They fought for Freedom We fight to keep it"; "Independence July 4, 1776 They kept the faith and so do you every time you lend a dime for War Savings Stamps"; "John Paul Jones said: 'I have not yet begun to fight'"; "Fight with war stamps & bonds"; "Washington crossed the Delaware to win our freedom, we cross oceans to keep it!") encouraging the public to invest in war stamps and war bonds. Note that this poster features great art of two different colonial leaders John Paul Jones and George Washington in battle, and above them were a scene of Lexington and Concord, and a scene of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. There were dotted lines around the four images, and these were intended to be trimmed into separate posters, but certainly some people kept the poster untrimmed!
Artist: James Henry Daugherty
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster has a diagonal crease at upper left and some smudges around the edges, but overall it is in pretty nice condition!
