An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 13 1/2" x 22" [34 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Seven Chances, the classic 1925 Buster Keaton silent romantic wedding marriage money inheritance comedy ("Based on David Belasco's famous stage comedy by Roi Cooper Megrue"; "Buster Keaton in the year's funniest comedy-romance"; about a man who has no money, but discovers he will inherit seven million dollars, but ONLY if he is married before 7pm on his 27th birthday, and he asks every girl he knows to marry him, but they refuse, and he advertises for a bride, with extremely fanciful results, including great comic scenes of hundreds of girls in wedding dresses chasing Keaton in one of the greatest movie chases ever!) starring Buster Keaton, T. Roy Barnes, Snitz Edwards, Ruth Dwyer, Frances Raymond, Erwin Connelly, and Jules Cowles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: R Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three examples of this window card, but the last one was 9 years ago! Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 13 1/2" x 22" [34 x 56 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The right 1/2" of the card was trimmed off, but it only very slightly affects the image. There are four nail holes near the top, with one in the middle left and one in the right background area. There is one small nail hole in the left of the first "E" of "SEVEN" and one to the left of the second "C" of "CHANCES". There are some stains scattered in the top of the card and very slightly around the edges. This card can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, restoration can be performed, and it is very lucky that there are almost no defects in the image, and very few in the title and credits (see our image).
