An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The 3 Mesquiteers, the 1947 cowboy western stock poster that could be used by theater-owners to advertise re-releases of films featuring the group of actors known as The Three Mesquiteers. The poster had a blank area where the title and actors of the specific film could be added. The Three Mesquiteers were a cowboy trio that appeared in a series of 51 Western movies by Republic studio from 1936 to 1943. The group changed many actors over the years, some of whom include: Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, Rufe Davis, Robert Livingston, Raymond Hatton, Duncan Renaldo, Bob Steele, Max Terhune, Tom Tyler, and even John Wayne! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. Someone backed nearly all of the foldlines of the back of the poster, some of which slightly bleeds through to the front. As such, the poster is difficult to full unfold. Someone used much black marker to partially color in the "M" in "GUNSMOKE".
