An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

The Billboard Girl, the 1932 Leslie Pearce musical romantic comedy short ("A comedy featurette"; produced by Mack Sennett; about a young man who falls madly in love with a beautiful college co-ed, and he will do anything to meet her, including dressing in drag!) starring Bing Crosby (billed as "Radio's Baron of Baritones"; in an early role), Marjorie Kane, Dick Stewart, James Eagles, and Lincoln Stedman. Note that this is one of nine musical shorts that Bing Crosby made between 1930 and 1934. Movie paper from any of them is beyond rare!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. Not only have we never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this one-sheet, but we have never auctioned any movie paper from ANY of the 8 Bing Crosby shorts that he made between 1930 and 1934 (although we have auctioned a 1939 stock one-sheet for re-releases of those shorts). If you don't purchase this poster, you may never get another chance to purchase any first release poster from any Bing Crosby musical short!

Condition: very good. The poster has tiny separation, a small tear, and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold, with tiny separation at the top crossfold. It was lightly folded in half an extra time, and it has some minor creases scattered throughout. There is some darkening and staining on the back of the bottom quarter of the poster, but it does not show through to the front. The poster has likely survived in about as good condition as one could hope!
