An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 12" x 16" [30 x 41 cm]) (Learn More) Let's Try Again (released in other English-speaking countries as "The Marriage Symphony"), the 1934 Worthington Miner romantic melodrama (based on the play 'Sour Grapes' by Vincent Lawrence) starring Diana Wynyard, Clive Brook, Irene Hervey, Helen Vinson, Theodore Newton, and Arthur Hoyt NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed (see below) and it now measures 12" x 16" [30 x 41 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: poor. The card was found in the back of a frame where it had been used as a backing board for a picture (many framers in the 1930s would use window cards for this purpose, and they would trim them to the size of the frame, not caring that they were cutting into the image!). In this case, the trimming, which was to 12" x 16", affects the right and very slightly the top of the card, and you can see what is missing by looking at our image. Since the image is entirely present and much of the title and credits remain, I would think a restorer could replace what is missing, but please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
