Joe"; based on the play by Maxwell Anderson; about young lovers who are separated when the boy is drafted into World War II, and he is on an island in the Philippines, and the only thing that keeps him going is the letters from his girlfriend; interestingly, the movie ended without the young soldier returning home, reflective of the fact that World War II was still being fought, and that hundreds of thousands of similar young men were not yet able to come home either) starring Anne Baxter, William Eythe, Michael O'Shea, Vincent Price, Ruth Nelson, Ray Collins, Harry Morgan, and Joven E. There is a snipe at upper center and there are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with masking tape from the back that bleeds through to the front (especially along the entire upper horizontal fold).
