An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) The Far Call, the 1929 Allan Dwan Arctic Circle Bering Sea seal poaching romantic adventure melodrama ("Life and adventure at the top of the world"; "Story by Edison Marshall"; about the daughter of the governor of the territory who falls in love with a seal poacher, and he reforms for her, and stops his henchmen from continuing to poach seals, and he becomes a hero) starring Charles Morton, Leila Hyams, Warren Hymer, Arthur Stone, Warner Baxter, and Dan Wolheim. Note that Warner Baxter was born in 1889, and in the early 1920s he rose to prominence in silent movies, becoming a major star of the 1920s, while he was in his 30s. He won the Oscar for Best Actor as The Cisco Kid in "In Old Arizona" in 1929, and he remained a top star throughout the 1930s! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
