During World War II, he was forced to join the Nazi party, but he only appeared in a single propaganda movie, in 1944, and his reputation was undiminished by his brief association with the Nazis. Some of his movies include: Isola Bella, Stern Von Rio, and Wiener Blut. He remained in Germany after World War II and passed away in 1973 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this German still was used in the U.S., because someone typed both the German title and English title on the back. But we believe it to surely be a German still, based on the size and the UFA logo. Note that this German still measures 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" [19 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good.
