9y0292 THEATER SCHEDULE DISPLAY 15x28 theater display 1940s-1950s Bud Abbott & Lou Costello movies!

An Original Vintage Theater Display (measures 15" x 27 1/2" [38 x 70 cm) (Learn More)

the circa 1950s wood display sign featuring spots for drugstore counter posters for the films which were available for viewing. Note that most movie theaters in the 1940s and 1950s had signs similar to these, but very, very few of them have survived (we have only seen a few). Note that the display has its original metal easel backing, allowing it to be free standing on a counter (see our image of the back).
Important Added Info: Note that the display is from the Egyptian Theater in Coos Bay, Oregon. It features several Abbott & Costello movies (some of which are surely re-releases) so we think the display is from the 1940s or 1950s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. As can be seen in our image the display has general wear and each of the cards has darkened (and a few have some amount of slight discoloration). It is otherwise in generally nice condition.
