She is noted for creating accordion fold books that re-tell classic fairy tales with symbols instead of words or pictures. Lavater passed away in 2007 at the age of 93. Artist: Warja Lavater Important Added Info: Note that this is a portfolio of 12 prints showing 2300 Years of Medical Costumes! There are prints that are designed to be framed (no doubt they were purchased by doctors to put on the walls of their office). They are quite nice (see our images). Condition: good to very good. The outer portfolio has stains and tears, including a diagonal tear at the top left of the cover. However, the interior prints are in pretty nice condition (see our images).
