Date Sold 6/19/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A 1946 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Reginald Denny was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1960s. He was a top star in lots of 1920s movies including the Leather Pushers boxing series. In 1929, he made his first talkie, and moviegoers discovered he had an English accent! This led to an important career as a supporting actor, including Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, and he kept acting until the 1960s. He passed away in 1967 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Reginald Denny! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie poster collector from the 1960s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. The still has darkened throughout and there are some faint scuffs and creases scattered throughout (mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light). There is small paper loss in the upper left blank border and staining in the left of the bottom border. Learn More about condition grades
