An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 25 1/2" x 37 1/4") (Learn More)

Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan's Revenge, the 1938 D. Ross Lederman romantic jungle adventure thriller ("Story by Edgar Rice Burroughs"; "Screen Play by Robert Lee Johnson and Jay Vann") starring Glenn Morris (in the title role as Tarzan), Eleanor Holm (as Jane), George Barbier, C. Henry Gordon, and Hedda Hopper. Note that this movie (produced by Sol Lesser) was essentially a loose remake of the original Tarzan of the Apes story, with characters changing names and an Arab sheik trying to kidnap the female lead. Glenn Morris was an Olympic decathlon champion and Eleanor Holm was an Olympic swimmer, and their lack of acting experience shows. Some have called this the "worst" of the Tarzan movies, and others find it fairly entertaining! It was Glenn Morris' only appearance as Tarzan.

Important Added Info: Note that the poster has had all its borders trimmed and it now measures 25 1/2" x 37 1/4".

Condition: fair. The left, top, and right blank borders were trimmed off, and the bottom border plus approximately 1" of the bottom of the image was trimmed off. This cut off almost all of the small credits at the bottom, and a tiny part of the image. The part of the poster that remains is in pretty good condition, but PLEASE do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that it has been trimmed (including the bottom 1" of the image), and can either accept the poster as it is, or are willing to pay to have it restored!
