An Undated (probably 2000s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Hand-Painted Lebanese Movie Poster (measures 76 1/2" x 77" [194 x 196 cm]) (Learn More) Dracula, the classic 1931 Tod Browning Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("The Greatest of all Horror Thrillers"; "The Vampire Thriller!"; "The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!"; "Do vampires really exist?"; "From the famous novel & play by Bram Stoker") starring Bela Lugosi (in the title role as Count Dracula), David Manners, Helen Chandler, Dwight Frye (if there had been a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1931, Frye would have surely won it for his wild over-the-top portrayal as Renfield!), Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Abraham Van Helsing), Frances Dade, and Herbert Bunston NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Zeineddine Important Added Info: Note that in the past two years, we at eMoviePoster.com were consigned recent Egyptian posters that were used at an Egyptian movie theater showing classic movies. We were told that these showings occurred starting around 20 years ago, and that they continued to the present day. Some of those posters appeared to be 10 or more years old, but others seemed to be from the last couple of years. In April 2021, we were consigned a handful of hand painted billboard sized Lebanese posters that apparently hung on the walls at similar Lebanese showings! Each of those measured around 6 feet by 12 feet, and each was a one of a kind poster, painted by a specific Lebanese artist, "Zeineddine". Since that time, we have been consigned several dozen more of these hand painted "billboard" Lebanese posters, and we are currently auctioning two them in two separate auctions. We have been told that this specific poster was used between 10 and 25 years ago at a showing of this movie in Lebanon, but we can't verify that for certain. The above is all the information we have about this poster, so please do not bid unless you can accept these uncertainties as to exactly when it was created and how it was used. Also note that this Lebanese poster was created in 6 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. The poster was created in six sections and some of them are glued together.
