An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Hot Rod Gang (released in England as "Fury Unleashed"), the 1958 Lew Landers AIP automobile car racing sports teen musical melodrama ("Crazy Kids... Living to a Wild Rock 'N' Roll Beat!"; produced by Charles Buddy Rogers; about some teens who love playing music and hot rods, and their girlfriends, there are a few bad teens, but no real "gang"!) starring John Ashley, Jody Fair, Gene Vincent (one of the pioneers of rock 'n' roll, best remembered for his song "Be Bop A Lula"), Steve Drexel, and Scott Peters. Note that rock 'n' roll fans will really enjoy this movie for the chance to see Gene Vincent performing (and acting, too!). Sadly, Vincent would die in 1971 at the age of 36, the result of much hard drinking, and four wives! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster is somewhat discolored and there are some brown stains in the title area and artwork in the lower left corner and there are tape stains around the edges. There is approximately 2" of separation in the right end of the horizontal fold. There is some marker writing on the back of the poster at upper center but it does not appear to have any effect on the front. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and if one chose to have it restored the staining and discoloration could surely be removed through chemical means and the poster would look fantastic!
