An Original 1969 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Santo en el Tesoro de Dracula (released in the U.S. in 1969 as "Santo and Dracula's Treasure"), the 1969 Rene Cardona Mexican masked wrestler luchador monster horror adventure thriller (about time travel, a secret treasure and Dracula's army of vampire women) starring Santo (in the title role), Aldo Monti (in the title role as Dracula), Noelia Noel, Roberto G. Rivera, Carlos Agosti, Alberto Rojas, and Pili Gonzalez. Note that there was also an alternate version with nudes scenes which was released under the title "El Vampiro Y El Sexo"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this version of the movie features nudes scenes and was released under the title El Vampiro Y El Sexo. Interestingly, the nude scenes were filmed in color while the rest of the movie is in black & white. Also, note that many exhibitors of low budget movies would take the movies around the country for a roadshow release in small towns, and they would often make a set of lobby cards that consisted of a stock lobby card with an inset area that was 5" x 7", and glue eight different 5x7s on to eight stock lobby cards, thus inexpensively creating an 8 card set. Also note that this lobby card was printed in the United States for use at theaters with Spanish speaking audiences (this was done most by MGM, starting in the 1930s, but it was done by the other major studios as well, and often the posters would have the exact same image as the English language poster, except the writing would be in Spanish, and on posters from the 1930s and 1940s there would be an added "Toda en Espanol!", meaning "Entirely in Spanish!", printed within the image). Sometimes posters from the 1960s or later will have the word "SPANISH" printed in the bottom border (or sometimes stamped on the back of the poster). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is water staining at top center that extends into the tipped in photo. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
