Red Skelton (born Richard Red Skelton) was a legendary actor and slapstick comedian from the 1930s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Three Little Words, Bathing Beauty, Whistling in the Dark, and many more! He had a long-running hit TV series as well! He passed away in 1997 at the age of 84. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1930s to the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Note that all the checks are signed "Richard Skelton", which was Red Skelton's given name, and that the stills are vintage. There is a letter to Mr. Skelton from the Screen Actors Guild that may have secretarial signatures on it. There is a 1946 letter to The Hollywood Reporter from Mr. Skelton and employees of the Russell Seeds Company, telling them that an articles in The Hollywood Reporter was not accurate (the Russell Seeds Company was a sponsor of Mr. Skelton's radio show, and they were protesting the article, and Mr. Skelton signed the letter along with the employees; see our image)!
