Gamlet (released in the U.S. as "Hamlet"), the 1964 Grigori Kozintsev Russian William Shakespeare tragic melodrama (based on the play by William Shakespeare) starring Innokenti Smoktunovsky (in the title role as Hamlet), Mikhail Nazvanov, Elza Radzina, Yuri Tolubeyev, and Anastasiya Vertinskaya

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this Japanese B1 poster measures 28 3/4" x 40 1/4" [73 x 102 cm]. Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 3/4" x 40 1/4" [73 x 102 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster ah discoloration along portions of the folds mainly in the lower horizontal fold (it is somewhat more noticeable on back than on the front). It has some fold and border wear. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the slight discoloration can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the very rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
