An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 12" x 18"; 8 pages) (Learn More) Francis Covers the Big Town, the 1953 Arthur Lubin talking mule fantasy comedy sequel ("It's brand NEW - and it's all Hilarious!"; "Francis is running the racketeers ragged!... driving the cops crazy... and wooing a little filly in the cutest striped pajamas!"; "Based on the character 'Francis' created by David Stern"; this was one of the popular "Francis the Talking Mule" series from Universal) starring Donald O'Connor, Yvette Dugay, Gene Lockhart, Nancy Guild, and Chill Wills (as the voice of Francis the Talking Mule) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. This pressbook is in lesser condition. It has significant defects, such as tears, stains, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges. However, important to note that it is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported. But please do not bid on this pressbook unless you can accept the clear defects that it has (if you look at the images we provide, you should get a good sense of what defects this pressbook has).
